Privacy Policy of MyEveryday
- The Security of User Data is Our Top Priority
MyEveryday respects the privacy of all users of the website and the online shop (hereinafter referred to as "the customer" or "the customers"). This privacy policy forms the basis for the processing of personal data and explains what type of user data is collected by MyEveryday from customers, how MyEveryday uses this data, and what rights customers have. MyEveryday complies with applicable data protection rights and processes personal data solely for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.
This privacy policy is subject to occasional adjustments, additions, or changes. The most current, accessible version applies with each new visit or access to the website.
In case of contradictions between this privacy policy and any other applicable contractual or business conditions of MyEveryday, the provisions of this privacy policy take precedence.
- Type and Purpose of Collected Data
The term “personal data” in the sense of this privacy policy includes information that can be used to personally identify customers.
The processing of personal data encompasses any handling of personal data, such as collecting, using, storing, disclosing, transmitting, or deleting data.
MyEveryday automatically collects personal data when the customer interacts with the website or uses the online shop. Additionally, personal data is collected automatically or manually that a customer provides (e.g., by contacting us, creating a user profile or customer account).
2.1 Data Automatically Collected
When visiting MyEveryday’s website, statistical visitor data is automatically collected regarding which parts of the online offerings are visited by customers. Each time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which may contain the name of the requested file, the customer’s IP address, the date and time of access, the browser used, the operating system, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), documenting the access. In this context, it is sometimes necessary to use so-called cookies (see section 4 below).
This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the site and improving our offerings.
2.2 Data Collected During Interaction with MyEveryday, for Contract Fulfillment, Contacting Us, and Opening a Customer Account
MyEveryday does not automatically collect personal data from customers, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses.
However, personal data from customers is collected when a customer voluntarily provides this information during an order or when contacting MyEveryday (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as MyEveryday requires this data for contract fulfillment or processing the inquiry, and without providing this information, the order or inquiry cannot be sent. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms.
If a customer decides to open a customer account, MyEveryday uses the personal data for the purpose of creating the customer account. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full; otherwise, MyEveryday may reject the registration. The collected personal data is only used by MyEveryday for the purposes of using the online shop or the respective offering or service for which the customer has registered. Additionally, MyEveryday may use the customer's email address to inform them about important changes, such as changes in the scope of services or necessary technical changes.
After the complete fulfillment of the contract or after the deletion of the customer account, the customer's data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the statutory retention periods for tax and commercial purposes, unless the customer has explicitly consented to further use of the data or MyEveryday reserves a further use of data that is legally permissible. The deletion of the customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact information provided below (see section 9 below) or through a designated function in the customer account.
- Legal Basis for Collecting and Processing Personal Data
The legal basis for the collection and processing of the customer’s personal data depends on the specific purpose of the data processing. The following may apply:
- The protection of the legitimate interests of MyEveryday, provided that the interests of the customer or fundamental rights or freedoms are not unduly affected;
- The conclusion or fulfillment of a contract; or
- The customer's consent at the time of collecting the personal data. The customer can revoke their consent at any time. For this purpose, the customer can send a corresponding notification to the contact information described below. The legality of data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
- Use of Cookies and Data Usage
4.1 Cookies
To continuously improve the website for customers, MyEveryday may use cookies. Cookies are small software information that are stored on the customer’s computer hard drive by web browsers (e.g., Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox) to facilitate the use of the website (e.g., language selection, shopping cart, etc.).
Some of the cookies used by MyEveryday are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after the web browser is closed (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on the device and allow MyEveryday to recognize the customer's web browser during the next visit (so-called persistent cookies). The duration of storage can be found in the overview of the cookie settings of the web browser.
Most web browsers automatically accept such cookies; however, browsers can be configured not to accept or store cookies. However, deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of the website. Details can be found in the user manual or help function of the web browser.
4.2 Use of the Data
The anonymized data collected via cookies when accessing the MyEveryday website may be used for web analytics, website optimization, and performance measurement purposes. MyEveryday may use third-party services for this purpose, which may have their own data protection regulations, which MyEveryday cannot influence.
MyEveryday uses features from the following web analytics services:
Google Analytics
Provider: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google evaluates the use of the website to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website use and internet usage to MyEveryday. The IP address transmitted by the customer's web browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.
The information generated by cookies about the use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google adheres to the data protection provisions of the "Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield" agreement and has registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce for the "Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield" (information on the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield can be found at https://www.privacyshield.gov/Swiss-US-Privacy-Shield-FAQs).

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking
Provider: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
In the context of Google Ads, MyEveryday uses so-called conversion tracking. When the customer clicks on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. These cookies expire no later than 30 days and are not used to identify the customer. If the customer visits the MyEveryday website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and MyEveryday can recognize that the customer clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to this page.
MyEveryday receives from Google the total number of users who clicked on the advertisement and were redirected to a website marked with a conversion tracking tag. However, MyEveryday does not receive information that can personally identify the customer.
Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
MyEveryday uses Google Maps to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google processes data about the use of Maps features by website visitors, which may include the IP address and location data. MyEveryday has no influence on this data processing.
If information is transmitted to servers of Google in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the "Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield."
To deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent data transmission to Google, the customer must deactivate the JavaScript function in their web browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

4.3 Social Media Content
MyEveryday may use social media plugins from social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter on the website.
When the customer accesses a webpage containing such a plugin, the web browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective social network. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the respective provider to the web browser and embedded in the page. Through the embedding of the plugins, the providers receive information that the customer’s web browser has accessed the corresponding webpage of MyEveryday, even if the customer does not have a profile with the corresponding social network or is not logged in at the time. This information (including the IP address) is transmitted directly from the customer’s web browser to a server of the respective provider (possibly in the USA) and stored there. If the customer is logged in to one of the services, the providers of the social network can immediately associate the visit to the MyEveryday website with the profile in the respective social network. When the customer interacts with the plugins, for example, by pressing the “Like” or “Share” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the providers and stored there.
